Did You Know?
The first plan for Lincklaen’s new home (dated 1806) cost $15.

Situated on one of Central New York's earliest settled communities and majestically overlooking Cazenovia Lake, Lorenzo State Historic Site offers an opportunity to discover the imprint of five generations of the Lincklaen/Ledyard family.

Established in 1807 as the neoclassical home of John Lincklaen, Holland Land Company agent and founder of Cazenovia, Lorenzo was continually occupied by the family until the property was conveyed to New York State in 1968.

Lorenzo is the jewel of Cazenovia, a village renowned today for its quaint and picturesque landscapes, quiet inns, fine restaurants, cultural attractions and unique shops.
