Group Camping

Skip Navigation LinksHome : Camping : Group Camping

Group campsites/cabins can provide a unique camping experience. Often set in a remote area within the park, group camping areas can be the perfect location for your family reunion or group outing. Sites are primitive but are usually discounted compared to the cost of a standard site.

To enhance your stay, take advantage of the recreation activities offered at the campground. Go for a hike, rent a boat or catch a fish. All this can be part of the total group outing experience.

Deciding where to camp? Our parks offer a remarkable diversity of natural settings including views of the mighty Hudson River in the Taconic and Palisades regions; cascading waterfalls, deep gorges and amazing canyons in the Finger Lakes, Genesee and Niagara regions; lake-side views in the Central Saratoga and Thousand Island regions, and vast wilderness in Allegany.

Looking for something to do during your stay? In addition to countless recreational activities including hiking, fishing and boating, our parks offer a full slate of fun family-friendly events throughout the camping season. For more information, visit our calendar of events.

Group camps range in accommodations from 20 to 100 people. In most cases, you will need to contact the park for reservations and information.
